It is satire with teeth. A mirror held up to the video game industry's microtransaction model. In 2006, EA charged $2 for horse armor. By 2021, FIFA Ultimate Team generated $1.6 billion per year from digital card packs. We simply asked: what if we applied that same logic to a calculator?
